Rock Hill, S.C. — The Catawba College Beach Volleyball team was tabbed fifth in the preseason South Atlantic Conference coaches' poll, the organization announced Thursday morning.
 
Additionally, Emma Christensen and Marcella Hermont and Sidney Kettelkamp and Emily Dudley were named Pairs to Watch.
 
Catawba is under the direction of second-year head coach Suzana Andrade. In her first season, the Catawba Indians won two conference matches over Erskine and Emmanuel in their first Conference Weekend. 
 
Kettelkamp returns to the team after a season with 10 victories in the #5 position. Christensen, Hermont and Dudley are new to the program in 2026.
 
Catawba kicks its season off at the Catawba Beach Courts on Wednesday, Feb. 11, hosting Sandhills Community College at 3 and 5 p.m.
