Rock Hill, S.C. —- The Catawba College men's and women's track and field teams were voted to finish as the runners-up in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Outdoor Track & Field poll released Friday morning.

Both Catawba teams were picked to finish second behind league favorites Wingate.

On the men's side, Victor Smith, Miles Stephens, Seth Caudill and Jayden Bennermon were named Athletes to Watch.

For the women, Madi Clay, Lilly Wolf, Efe Egberi and Natalie Almond were recognized as Athletes to Watch.

Catawba opens its outdoor season on Friday at the Charlotte 49er Classic. The SAC Outdoor Championships are April 29 and 30 in Emory, Va.
