Greenwood, Ind. — Four Catawba College women's basketball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
Senior Mary Spry, redshirt junior Saniya Wilson, junior Brooklin Ingram and sophomore Julie Janus were recognized to the team, which honors student-athletes with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA with minimum participation requirements.
 
Spry earned Second Team All-SAC honors after leading the team with 17.3 points per game on over 50 percent shooting from the field. Ingram started all but one game and led the team with 30.8 minutes per game, while netting a team-best 60 three-pointers.
 
Janus started in 21 games for the Catawba Indians as a sophomore, ranking third on the team in both rebounds and assists. Wilson appeared in all 28 games, ranking second on the team with 55 assists.
