MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — The Catawba College men's volleyball team took down No. 2 seed Barry, 3-0, in semifinal action at the Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (IVA) Tournament on Friday, earning an opportunity to play for the league title.

TEAM STATS
- Catawba (13-13) smashed 46 kills, a three-set season high, on a blazing hot .421 hitting percentage; Barry (21-6) chalked up a .295 clip with 34 strikes
- The blue and white were net-positive in the service sector, serving eight aces against seven errors while the Buccaneers had seven and 10, respectively
- The Bucs held a slight lead in blocking at 6-5 as the Catawba Indians romped in digs with a considerable 28-15 differential
- In each stanza, Catawba fired no fewer than 14 kills; meanwhile, Barry never reached that mark in a set during the match — topping out at 13

INDIVIDUAL STATS
- Anders Christianson led the way on offense with 12 kills while batting .500, also chipping in four digs
- Justin Arrowood spiked 11 kills with a career-high four service aces as well as five digs and three blocks (one solo)
- Logan Neitzel killed each of his nine attack attempts for a perfect 1.000 clip with one ace, two blocks and three digs
- Wyatt Eastin launched nine kills on 15 swings while also turning in two blocks and a dig
- Kristian Smith stacked 35 assists with five digs, two aces, two kills and two blocks
- Max Adkisson racked up a team-best seven digs and dished out three assists
