Pembroke, N.C. —- The 5th-ranked Catawba College baseball team suffered a loss in their final non-conference test of the regular season at UNC Pembroke despite junior Brandon Crabtree's 4-for-4 night with two home runs and 11 total bases.

- Crabtree totaled 11 bases on the night, going 4-for-4 with two homers, a double and walk with three RBI and four runs scored
- Sam Hunter was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored
- Logan Dyer singled, walked twice, drove in a run and scored three times
- Ty Hubbard had two hits including a double and drove in two
- Calvin Douglas and Zachary Gaydos delivered scoreless innings of relief

FIRST INNING
- Crabtree started his night with a solo homer in the first
- Hunter was hit by a pitch and later scored on Hubbard's infield single
- UNC Pembroke answered with a two-run homer to tie the game in the bottom half
- The Braves took the lead on an RBI fielder's choice
THIRD INNING
- UNCP added to their lead when they stole home, crossing before the runner at second was tagged out
FOURTH INNING
- Dyer's two-out RBI single got Catawba within 4-3 in the fourth
- Hunter and Jake Dunlap followed with two-out RBI base hits to keep the rally going and give Catawba a 5-4 lead
FIFTH INNING
- Ashton Donathan's RBI base hit tied the game at 5 for UNC Pembroke
- The Braves added another run on a two-out double down the left field line
SIXTH INNING
- Hunter's double tied the game at six
- Dunlap's sac fly and Hubbard's RBI double gave Catawba an 8-6 advantage
SEVENTH INNING
- UNC Pembroke loaded the bases with nobody out in the seventh
- An infield single and a walk tied the game at 8
- A walk and a sacrifice fly gave the Braves a 10-8 lead; their three-run homer pushed it to 13-8
EIGHTH INNING
- Crabtree launched another home run, this time a two-run blast to bring Catawba within three
- UNCP answered with a two-run homer of their own in the bottom half to reach the final score, 15-10
