Emporia, Kan. — Catawba College graduate student Victor Smith finished as the national runner-up in the men's 100-meter dash on Saturday, highlighting the final day at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Emporia, Kan.

Men's Triple Jump
- Jayden Bennermon placed 16th in the men's triple jump with a leap of 14.71 meters
Men's 100-Meter Dash Final
- Smith placed as the runner-up in the men's 100m dash final with a mark of 10.10 seconds, three-hundredths of a season behind the national champion
Men's 200-Meter Dash Final
- Miles Stephens added First Team All-America honors with an eighth-place finish in the men's 200m dash final, recording a time of 21.36 seconds
Women's 5,000-Meter Run
- Madi Clay closed out the Championships and her historic career with a 15th-place finish in the Women's 5K with a mark of 16:47.03
