JOHNSTOWN, PA. — The Catawba College men's golf team finished third at the Sunnehanna Collegiate on Tuesday at Sunnehanna Country Club hosted by the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. 

The Catawba Indians carded a three-round score of 851 (+11) in the 18-team field. Catawba opened with a 282 (+2), followed by a strong 281 (+1) in the completion of the second round and a 288 (+8) in the final round. Catawba's near-even second round included Maxence Bonnet and Alec Barker both going one-under par in addition to Bonnet and freshman Leonard Saville landing an eagle on the 11th hole.

Bonnet paced the Catawba Indians, finishing tied for ninth with a 212 (+2). He opened with a 72 before carding a 69 (-1) in the second round and a 71 (+1) in the final round.

Paul Esnault finished tied for 13th at 213 (+3), recording rounds of 70, 70 and 73. Pranay Kapur followed in 19th at 214 (+4) after rounds of 68, 74 and 72.

Saville finished tied for 57th with a 220 (+10) while Alec Barker placed tied for 75th at 224 (+14) after rounds. Sebastiano Rollo also completed an individual performance of 227 (+17). 

Catawba's performance comes one week after Esnault led the Indians at the Lake Lanier Collegiate Classic, where he finished tied for eighth with a 204 (-6).
