Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College women's basketball team puts its four-game South Atlantic Conference win streak on the line on Saturday inside Goodman Arena, hosting 10th-ranked Carson-Newman for the teams' second matchup in three weeks to complete the season series.

- Catawba extended its SAC and overall win streak to four games on Wednesday, defeating Tusculum on the road 88-77, out-scoring the Pioneers 24-11 in the fourth quarter
- Saniya Wilson and Janiya Foskey set and matched career highs in points respectively, combining for 46 points and 16 rebounds in the victory
- Wilson more than doubled her previous career-best outing of 11 points with a 26-point explosion, including a precise 12-for-13 from the foul line
- Foskey recorded her first 20-plus point, 10-plus rebound game with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds
STREAK ON THE LINE
- Catawba enters Saturday as the winners of each of their last 33 regular season games inside Goodman Arena; their last loss came in then-Goodman Gym in February 2022

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
- Carson-Newman stands atop the SAC standings heading into Saturday and is ranked the top team in the Southeast region per the D2SIDA media poll
- The Eagles are ranked 10th in the WBCA coaches poll and fifth by the media
- Carson-Newman returns to Goodman Arena for the first time since reaching the regional final in March, falling to Georgia Southwestern in the regional title game
- Despite losing all-time leading scorer Braelyn Wykle, the Eagles still return double-digit scorers Campbell Penland, Tori Rutherford and Lindsey Taylor
