GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Catawba College women's golf team plays its closest fall tournament to home on Monday and Tuesday, competing against a host of Division I programs at the UNCG Collegiate.
The Team
- The Catawba Indians are a week removed from setting their lowest against-par score in program history of 52-over-par at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial
- Mary-Paige King headlined the affair with a record-breaking three-under 213, undercutting her own 54-hole record by six shots; back-to-back 68s helped the junior claim a top-10 finish in seventh place
- Hannah Waddell was the second-highest finisher for Catawba, checking in tied for 59th with a career-low 231 (+15)
- Sara Kristinsdottir chopped three strokes off her score in the season-opening Eckerd Invitational with a 235 (+19)

- Georgia State has recorded back-to-back top-five placements, headlined by a 905 (+41) which was good for third place at The Southern
- Host UNC Greensboro opened the year with a 19-over-par 871 at the par-71 Golfweek Fall Challenge
