Greenwood, Ind. —- The Catawba College softball team placed five student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Senior Kary Hales and Molly Strider along with juniors Maddy Altiers, Alex Baquie and Brianna Gallagher earned the honors, which is given to student-athletes who meet both cumulative GPA and participation requirements from the CSC.

The five Catawba Indians boast at least a 3.7 GPA while leading the team to a 23-win season in 2025.

Additionally, Gallagher and Hales will be considered for the CSC Academic All-America team, which will release in mid-June.
