Austin, Texas —- Eleven Catawba student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

The at-large team aims to recognize student-athletes who participate in sports not already covered by an Academic All-District/All-American team,

Paul Esnault and Allen Lockwood were named to the team from Men's Golf; Frank Cetrone and Boston Rehrer from Men's Lacrosse; Kristian Smith from Men's Volleyball; Morgan Childress, Sidney Kettelkamp and Katie Willingham from Beach Volleyball; and Audrey Adelsberger, Madison Shaffer and Mary Sorvillo from Women's Lacrosse.

The student-athletes were required to sport at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA as well as reaching participation limits within their sport.

Childress will advance to Academic All-America consideration, which will be released July 8.
