Jenni Dähne earned WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
The Oyten, Germany native racked up nine saves over a 2-0 start to SAC play for the Catawba Indians, a pair of clean-sheet victories over Carson-Newman (2-0) and Lincoln Memorial (3-0).
Dähne stopped two Carson-Newman shots on goal for the midweek shutout before a career-high seven saves in the win over Lincoln Memorial over the weekend at Frock Field.
The sophomore has allowed just one goal on the season to this point, ranking first among qualified goalkeepers in the conference with a .960 save percentage and 24 saves through six wins for 11th-ranked Catawba.
Dähne and the Catawba Indians return to action at Frock Field on Friday, hosting Columbus State at 1 p.m. in a rematch of the 2025 NCAA Tournament Second Round matchup.
