Greenwood, Ind. —- Catawba College junior Maks Minichowski was named a First Team Academic All-America selection, the College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday.
 
Minichowski earns Academic All-America honors for the second straight year from CSC, as he was named a Second Team selection following the 2024-25 season.
 
The native of Poland currently holds a 3.889 GPA in Sustainability Planning & Leadership. Minichowski was also named the 2025-26 South Atlantic Conference Men's Swimming Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
As well as excelling in the classroom, Minichowski excelled in the pool this year, earning six All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships, as well as four SAC championships at the conference meet.
 
Minichowski stands as the lone student-athlete to earn CSC Academic All-America honors in program history.
