Charlotte, N.C. —- The 11th-ranked Catawba College men's swim team dove back into action at the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational hosted at Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, remaining in eighth place as a team.

PRELIMS
100-Yard Butterfly
- Lassi Niemi punched his ticket to the championship final of the men's 100 Fly in the morning prelim session, posting a time of 48.68
- Ryan Case recorded a spot in the consolation final with his 48.90 time in the 100 Fly
400-Yard Individual Medley Relay
- Jules Remy had the sixth-fastest qualifying time in the 400 IM, swimming to a time of 3:56.39
- Joao Oliveira snagged a spot in the consolation final with a time just north of four minutes – 4:01.09
200-Yard Freestyle
- Nazar Herashchenko qualified for the consolation final in the men's 200 Free with a time of 1:38.42, good for a B-cut
100-Yard Breaststroke
- Greg Kisshauer missed out on the championship final by less than a tenth of a second in the morning preliminaries
- Rowan Viles also made his way into the B-final with a time of 55.91
100-Yard Backstroke
- George Fykatas had the 14th-fastest time in the men's 100 Back prelims, punching his ticket into the evening's consolation final
FINALS
100-Yard Butterfly
- Case maintained his 13th-place seeding in the 100 Butterfly consolation final, inching ahead of his prelim time with a 48.88
400-Yard Individual Medley
- Remy rose to second in his finals heat, earning a B-cut time of 3:51.67
- Oliveira placed 15th in the event with a 4:01.93 effort
200-Yard Freestyle
- Herashchenko maintained his 10th-place seed time with a mark of 1:37.96
100-Yard Breaststroke
- Viles matched his spot in 15th with a 56.26 mark in the final
100-Yard Backstroke
- Fykatas rose to 11th in the 100 Back final, clipping his 100 Back time down to 49.03
