Charlotte, N.C. — The eighth-ranked Catawba College women's swimming team competed in their second day of competition at the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, remaining in seventh place as a team.

PRELIMS
100-Yard Butterfly
- Sydney Peterson and Eniko Onofer earned spots in the consolation final in the 100 Fly prelims in the morning session
200-Yard Freestyle
- Danielle Meinema just missed a championship final in the 200 Free with a B-cut-worthy time of 1:51.86
- Marit Reckmann and Eszter Pajor joined her in the consolation final with 14th and 16th placings, respectively in the morning session
100-Yard Breaststroke
- Sydney McKenzie claimed her spot in the consolation final with a B-cut time of 1:03.21 in the 100 Breast
100-Yard Backstroke
- Maggie Cheves made her way into the consolation final in the 100 Back with a mark of 56.65
FINALS
100-Yard Butterfly
- Onofer rose to 10th in the 100 Butterfly finals, good for second-fastest in the consolation final with a swim of 55.29, earning an NCAA B-cut
- Peterson placed 13th in the 100 Fly with a mark of 56.06
200-Yard Freestyle
- Meinema placed 10th in the 200 Free finals with a 1:51.47 swim; Pajor finished 16th
100-Yard Backstroke
- McKenzie cut her 100 Back time down to 1:02.53 in the evening session, placing 10th
100-Yard Backstroke
- Cheves placed 16th in the women's 100 Back with a 56.95 time
