Winston Salem, N.C. — The Catawba College women's track and field team opened up its indoor season over the weekend, splitting up between the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University and the JDL Early Bird Invitational.

Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener - Boston, Mass.
Women's 5000-Meter Run
- Madi Clay and Natalie Almond competed in the 5K at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University
- Clay earned a 139th-place finish with a mark of 16:55.21
- Almond placed 152nd in the loaded field with a time of 17:06.86
JDL Early Bird Invitational - Winston Salem, N.C.
Women's Shot Put
- Lilly Wolf was the top Catawba finisher in a field event, earning a sixth-place finish in the women's shot put
Women's Long Jump
- Efe Egberi was the runner-up in the women's long jump with a jump of 5.80 meters
Women's 60-Meter Hurdles
- Wolf added another top-10 finish, placing 10th in the women's 60 hurdles
Women's 60-Meter Dash
- Egberi earned a sixth-place finish in the women's 60-meter dash, crossing in 7.71 seconds
Women's 400-Meter Dash
- Egberi earned her third top-six finish of the day in the women's 400, placing third in the with a mark of 57.88
- Onii Bivens finished just behind her in sixth, with a time of 58.21
- Burgos added a top-10 finish with a mark of 59.30, good for ninth
Women's 200-Meter Dash
- Brooke Rediger picked up a third-place finish with a 25.50 mark in the women's 200
- Letsi Burgos finished just behind her with a 25.51 run to place fourth
