Atlanta, Ga. — The 10th-ranked Catawba College men's and women's swimming teams saw their final action before the NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday at the Emory Last Chance Invite.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Women's 50-Yard Freestyle Time Trial
- Catawba's Clara Campo and Fernanda Regina finished 1-2 in the women's 50 free time trial with marks of 23.96 and 24.21, respectively
Men's 50-Yard Freestyle Time Trial
- Catawba's Matt Howard turned in a 20.09 second time in the Men's 50 Free Time Trial, pacing the field
200-Yard Individual Medley Time Trial
- Mahee Gory-Lauret touched the wall in 2:06.25 in the Women's 200 IM
100-Yard Butterfly Time Trial
- Lassi Niemi picked up a second-place finish in the Men's 100 Fly Time Trial with a mark of 47.93
