Columbia, S.C. — The Catawba College men's and women's indoor track and field teams set two new school records in its final preparations before the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships next weekend.

Men's 200-Meter Dash
- Miles Stephens posted a top-10 Division II time in the country in the Men's 200m dash, recording a time of 21.18 seconds
Men's 400-Meter Dash
- Christopher turned in a top-10 finish in the men's 400m dash with a time of 48.95
Men's 4x400-Meter Relay
- Catawba's men's relay team of Christopher, Jeremiah Hines, Stephens and Victor Smith broke the school record and won the individual title in the Men's 4x400m relay with a mark of 3:13.47

Men's 60-Meter Hurldes
- John Shearin IV posted a top-eight finish in the Men's 60-meter hurdles with a mark of 8.90 seconds
Women's 60-Meter Hurdles
- Lea Legros picked up a podium finish in the women's 60m hurdles with a sub-eight second time
Women's 3,000-Meter Run
- Emer Mcglynn placed top ten in the women's 3K with a time of 10:45.73
Men's 3,000-Meter Run
- James Shue also made a top-ten finish in the men's 3K with a mark of 8:27.69
Men's 400-Meter Dash
- Alex Verity posted a top-10 finish in the men's 400m dash, placing ninth with a mark of 53.02 seconds
Women's 400-Meter Dash
- Tatiana Chigwerewe placed fifth in the women's 400m dash with a sub-minute mark of 59.78
Men's 800-Meter Run
- Dom Leimkuhler placed eighth in the men's 800m run with a time of 1:57.16
Men's 200-Meter Dash
- Anthony Holden posted a blazing mark of 22.57 seconds in the men's 200m dash, good for fourth
Women's 200-Meter Dash
- Legros and Chigwerewe added top-ten finishes in the women's seeded 200m dash with finishes of third and ninth, respectively
Men's One Mile Run
- Seth Caudill followed up his record-setting performance last week with a mark of 4:05.31 this week, good for sixth in the men's mile
Women's 5,000-Meter Run
- Madi Clay broke the school record in the Women's 5K with a mark of 16:45.58, now a top-25 time in the country
- Hannah Caudill, Justine Sanchez and Morgan Pollard all finished inside of the top five in a loaded event for Catawba
Men's 5,000-Meter Run
- Michael Martinez placed eighth in the men's 5K
Women's 4x400-Meter Relay
- Catawba's team that included Eden Barnwell, Pollard and Joanna Owczarz placed second in the women's 4x400 relay with a time of 4:06.90
