Evansville, Ind. — The Catawba College men's swimming team added five All-America performances on the final day of the NCAA National Championships in Evansville, Ind. on Saturday, adding to their top finish in team history at the event of ninth.

PRELIMS
100-Yard Freestyle
- Maks Minichowski booked his spot in the finals with a top-eight time in the Men's 100 Free
200-Yard Backstroke
- George Fykatas qualified for the Championship B final in the 200 Back with a mark of 1:45.72
200-Yard Breaststroke
- Rowan Viles earned the last spot for a Championship B final appearance in the 200 Breast
- Jules Remy was the first swimmer out in the event, placing one spot behind Viles with a 17th-place finish
1.650-Yard Freestyle
- Nazar Herashchenko churned out another top-five finish in the 1650 Free
FINALS
100-Yard Freestyle
- Minichowski matched his week- and career-best finish with a fourth-place finish in the Men's 100 Free, reaching the wall in 42.83, nearly four-tenths of a second faster than his prelim time
200-Yard Backstroke
- Fykatas jumped to 11th in the Men's 200 Back final with a mark of 1:45.11
200-Yard Breaststroke
- Viles jumped to 13th in the Men's 200 Breast, earning All-America honors with a time of 1:59.50
400-Yard Freestyle Relay
- In the final event of the season, Catawba's Men's 400 Free Relay team of Minichowski, Ryan Case, Sammer Abdallah and Matt Howard placed ninth, good for a Second Team All-America honor
STANDINGS
- Catawba jumped Grand Valley State and Florida Southern on the final day of the NCAA Championships, finishing ninth for their highest national finish in program history
