Winston-Salem, N.C. —- The Catawba College men's and women's track and field teams competed across the Wake Forest and Aggie (North Carolina A&T) Invitationals in their final tune-ups before the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships.

Wake Forest Invitational

Men's 1500-Meter Run

- Seth Caudill was the top Division II finisher in his heat of the 1500m run, crossing the line in 3:46.33

Women's 1500-Meter Run

- Natalie Almond, Emer Mcglynn and Mandi Pollard each placed as the top Division II finisher in their respective 1500m heats, placing seventh, ninth and 11th overall, respectively

Women's 5,000-Meter Run

- Hannah Caudill was the top Division II finisher in her Women's 5K invite heat, placing 15th with a mark of 16:51.08

Aggie Invitational

Men's 100-Meter Dash

- Victor Smith took home the individual title in the Men's 100m dash, setting the second-fastest time in country in the event

Men's 800-Meter Run

- Seth Roy was the top Division II finisher in the Men's 800m run, placing fifth overall with a mark of 1:52.54

Women's 800-Meter Run

- Mandi Pollard was the top Catawba finisher in the women's 800m run, placing fourth overall with a time of 2:13.39

- Charity Davies and Joanna Owczarz finished closed behind with 

Men's 1500-Meter Run

- Roy went on to earn another top-five finish, this time with a third-place finish in the 1500 with a mark of 3:56.54

- Carson Wells and Don Leimkuhler also turned in sub-four minute times, picking up fifth- and sixth-place finishes, respectively

Women's 5,000-Meter Run

- Justine Sanchez took home the individual title in the Women's 5K, finishing in 18:21.06

Women's Discus Throw

- Lilly Wolf was the Catawba finisher in the women's discus throw with a heave of 39.83 meters, good for ninth overall

Men's High Jump

- Namaurion Koontz was the runner-up in the men's high jump, clearing 2.05 meters

- Jayden Bennermon finished in fourth place, clearing 2.01 meters

Men's Javelin Throw

- Dom Gentile placed fourth overall in the men's javelin throw with a heave of 48.69 meters

Women's Javelin Throw

- Wolf won the individual title in the women's javelin throw, clearing a personal-best 38.61 meters

Men's Long Jump

- Bennermon added a top-five finish in the long jump, reaching 7.22 meters

Men's 4x400-Meter Relay

- Catawba's 4x400 relay team of Jeremiah Hines, Kengel Christopher, Au'waunn Gary and Smith placed seventh with a time of 40.58 seconds
