ROCK HILL, S.C. — Mary-Paige King of the Catawba College women's golf program was selected to the All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team per Friday afternoon's league release.
Catawba's first all-conference honoree since 2019, King put down a 75.56 stroke average with five par-or-better rounds including four below par. The junior posted a career-best 213 (-3) using back-to-back 68s in the LeeAnn Noble Memorial during the fall slate. In March, she starred at Patsy Rendleman Invitational where she captured her first collegiate win.
Leading into postseason, she has recorded 14 consecutive rounds in the 70s to total 23 for the year.
The South Atlantic Conference Championship will be held Apr. 12-14 with stroke play on Sunday and Monday, then match play for the top four teams on Tuesday.
