Rock Hill, S.C. —- Catawba College graduate student Victor Smith was named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

The West Palm Beach, Fla. native took home the event win in the 100-meter dash at the Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T, clocking a 10.04-second mark, good for second-fastest in NCAA Division II and a top-10 time across all NCAA divisions.

The reigning SAC champion and meet-record holder in the indoor 60-meter dash will go for more podium finishes at the SAC Outdoor Championships May 29 and 30.
